Plus you don't just have to go to a public charging station if you would like to recharge your Optima Plug-in as it can also be plugged into a household socket, allowing more flexibility. With the Optima to drive in full electric mode (EV), and Hybrid (HEV) you are provided with performance as well as having low emissions and fuel efficient.
There is also the option to run the Plug-in like a regular car, just relying on the 2 litre petrol engine, in this mode the engine will recharge the battery as you drive, perfect if they are running low between charging points
Both the car and the battery are covered by Kia's 7 year warranty giving you peace of mind in case anything goes wrong

If your Smartphone is running low and you have forgotten your cable to connect to the USB port, you can still charge your smartphone using the wireless phone charger by leaving your phone on the tray in the console, plus when you leave if you have forgotten to pick up your phone it will alert you to the fact you have left something on the tray.
