The DriveVantage Approved Used Car Programme is operated by Vantage Motor Group in respect of the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the DriveVantage Approved Used Car programme all vehicles must be less than 7 years old and have covered fewer than 100,000 miles and must have been offered for sale after 1st December 2011.
General Terms and Conditions
Vantage MotorGroup reserves the right to withdraw the DriveVantage programme at any time, but this will not affect any warranty existing on your car or other offers at time of purchase.
12 Month's Warranty
By purchasing your used car under DriveVantage, you will get a minimum of 12 Month's Warranty on your car. If your car still has over 12 months Manufacturer Warranty remaining then this will apply in place of a Vantage provided warranty.
If your car has less than 12 months Manufacturer Warranty remaining, then Vantage Motor Group where possible will 'top-up' the number of months required to meet the minimum 12 months by purchasing an additional warranty for you. The terms of this warranty may differ from the manufacturer warranty.
Your car must be serviced to the manufacturer's recommended standards and intervals in order to maintain your warranty.
30 Day Exchange Plan
Should you have reasonable cause to not be satisfied with your car, you can return it within 30 days (with no more than 500 miles covered since collection/delivery) and exchange it for another of at least equal value exclusive of any accessories. Vantage reserves the right to determine the reasonable cause, in some cases Vantage Motor Group may determine that there is no reasonable cause for exchange and therefore no exchange will be agreed. You will be asked to confirm that the vehicle is suitable and as described when the car is handed over to you.
This 30 day vehicle exchange agreement is in addition to your statutory rights as a customer and is subject to the condition as detailed on the reverse of the agreement certificate. You will be responsible for paying any difference in value if the replacement vehicle is a higher price than the original vehicle.
Only one exchange shall take place and the 30 day vehicle exchange agreement shall not apply to any replacement vehicle. In addition any costs which are incidental to the exchange of a vehicle will be payable by you, the customer, e.g. transfer costs of any outstanding credit agreement and the removal or transfer of accessories. If the Approved Used Car is subject to a hire purchase agreement, a modifying agreement will be completed.
12 Months MOT
If the car of your choice is over 3 years old, Vantage Motor Group will ensure that 12 months' MOT will be applied to to the car when you buy it. Please note that this may be up to 14 days lesser than 12 months to allow for a mutually agreed handover date for the car. If the car you choose is less than 3 years old, you will be responsible for any MOT that becomes required after the date of purchase. If you are unsure of the status of the MOT due date, please ask for confirmation from your supplying centre.
12 Months Roadside Assistance
12 month's Roadside Assistance will be provided in accordance with our manufacturers preferred supplier. If there is no preferred supplier in place Vantage reserve the right to provide any Roadside Assistance or Warranty providers deemed suitable and this may be subject to change.
Value-checked Prices
Using recognised industry tools, Vantage Motor Group will value check any DriveVantage car within a 40 mile distance and to ensure our cars are offered for sale at competitive prices based upon age, mileage, condition, specification and after care package. This is not a guarantee of price, but if you identify a similar car at a cheaper price locally please discuss this before purchase with your Sales Manager. Vantage Motor Group do not consider 'Value-Checked Prices' as a price promise.
Full Valet prior to your collection
Prior to handing over the car to you we will valet the car for you to ensure it is clean and tidy. This will include as a minimum; wash, leather, vacuum, tyres cleaned. Please note that the actual valet you receive may vary from Centre to Centre and we reserve the right to alter valet standards under adverse conditions such as snow or ice. If we cannot complete your valet in time for handover we will offer you a free valet at a mutually convenient time which a booking must be arranged for.
