With an electric passenger car and van option already on the market, Citroën has put its focus on combining efficiency and a reduction in pollution with practicality and versatility. The brand is aiming to expand its low-emissions range at a steady pace over the coming years too, with a new hybrid or electric model due for release every year from 2020. It all begins with the forthcoming C5 Aircross Plug-in Hybrid.

CURRENT ELECTRIC VEHICLES

The Citroën C-Zero is a perfect electrical companion for those who stay primarily in and around town. Covering 93 miles at a cost of just £1.50, it reaches a top speed of 80mph and can be recharged to 80% in just 30 minutes. Not only are there no particulate emissions produced, there’s no noise pollution either thanks to the near-silent engine.

The Citroën Berlingo Electric provides businesses with a cost-effective, zero-emissions solution that offers a load volume of up to 3.3 cubic metres and can cover a range of 106 miles on a single charge. Energy costs average at 2-3p per mile, and with the ability to charge to 80% in just half an hour, it helps you make the most of your working day.
