The battery life depends on the driving mode, but the model is capable of covering 38 miles on electric power alone, and has an overall range of up to 600 miles.

How many miles can it do on just electric mode?

The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid can cover up to 38 miles on electric power alone – plenty for the average daily commute.

How long does the battery take to charge?

Vehicles fitted with the onboard 6.6KW charger can recharge in just 2.5 hours. When connected to a 120V outlet, the battery will charge in 12 hours.

Where can I charge the vehicle?

The Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid can be charged at home, in public places such as supermarkets, or at a rapid charging station.

What is the CO2 output of the Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid?

This is a highly efficient model, with CO2 emissions of just under 29g/km.

The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid is equipped with Toyota’s AWD-i intelligent all-wheel drive system for maximum grip and control on a range of surfaces and in a variety of conditions.

The RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid is equipped with Toyota’s multimedia package, which provides a touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a range of Toyota e-connected services that enable you to access information and pre-condition your vehicle.

How long does it take to go from 0-60mph?

Provisional figures suggest the new RAV4 PHEV will achieve a 0-60mph time of just 6.2 seconds.

What safety features are available?

Safety features include lane departure warning with steering assist, automatic high beam assist, automatic adaptive cruise control, road sign assist and a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection.

What is the price of the New Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid?

No price is yet available for this model, but it’s expected to start from around £30,000.
