Battery Electric Built on a strong hybrid car legacy, Toyota's battery electric vehicles provide an appealing blend of smooth driving, impressive range, and emission-free operation. All-electric cars operate solely on battery power, which can be cheaper than conventional fuelling. Charging is easy and flexible, with three options available at home or on the go, ensuring ample range for daily and extended journeys. Renowned for reliability, choosing a Toyota EV gives you added peace of mind as every battery comes with an 8 year/100,000 mile manufacturer warranty, that can be extended to 10 years with regular servicing at an authorised dealer like Vantage Toyota.
Plug-in Hybrid A plug-in hybrid vehicle combines the latest hybrid technology with a powerful lithium-ion battery, offering the best of both worlds. Leveraging Toyota's hybrid expertise, these vehicles seamlessly blend efficient driving, extended range, and reduced emissions. Easy charging is available at home or in public spaces. With true EV performance, the plug-in hybrid allows electric-only driving for up to 46 miles*. Once the battery is depleted, the car seamlessly switches to a traditional self-charging hybrid, running on a combination of petrol and regenerative electric power.
Self-charging Hybrid A hybrid electric vehicle is a good jumping-on point if you’re used to driving a combustion-engined car, especially since it offers self-charging convenience. The main difference is that it offers greater efficiency and produces fewer emissions than a regular vehicle.
