The year 2020 has seen the commercial production of ŠKODA's first vehicles with a greener powertrain, the Superb PHEV and the ENYAQ IV.
The Superb PHEV combines a turbocharged 1.4-litre TSI petrol engine with a gearbox-mounted electric motor and 13kWh battery to produce an output of 215bhp. The model is expected to lower CO2 emissions to under 40g/km and offer an electric-only range of 34 miles – plenty for shorter drives in and around town.
The ŠKODA ENYAQ IV marks the first fully electric vehicle to enter the ŠKODA range. With two four-wheel-drive models available and two battery sizes, the entry level model will boast a 62kWh battery power. Alternatively you can opt for the 82kWh battery size which is capable of delivering up to an impressive range of 316 miles.
