Curious about Hybrid? Let us answer your questions, like do hybrids need to be plugged in to charge or how far can they travel in electric mode? You'll soon see that Toyota Hybrids feel no different to drive than conventional cars, in fact you'll wonder why you didn't make the switch sooner.

To demonstrate the benefits of hybrid, we are inviting customers to see how far they can travel in electric mode on a test drive in the All New Yaris. To date we have found that on average at least 54% of our Toyota Hybrid test drive journeys are completed in electric mode, this means no fuel is being used and because these cars are petrol-electric, you never have to plug the car in – it re-charges itself.

The customer who travels the furthest in Electric mode during their Hybrid Experience will win a £200 accessory voucher for their All New Yaris. The car must be ordered and registered on or before 30th September 2020.

What to expect from your Hybrid Experience test drive.

  1. Book a hybrid test drive in the All New Toyota Yaris at your local Vantage Toyota Centre.
  2. Your test drive will be monitored by a device fitted to the car, and key statistics will be measured.
  3. At the end of your test drive, your hybrid expert will be able to show you a map of your journey, plus how much time was spent on electric mode.
  4. You will then receive an email and certificate for your test drive and your results will be published anonymously in our league table.

Book your Hybrid Experience

*Average percent of 54,943 test drives spent in electric mode on Yaris, Auris, Corolla, C-HR and RAV4 Hybrids and Prius family. Test drives taken nationally between 01/04/2017 and 28/02/2019 in a variety of weather and driving conditions. Test drives conducted over a total of 702,031 miles at an average speed of 22mph.

^Our hybrid demonstrator vehicles are fitted with a telematics device, which with your permission will track your test drive journey to gather key statistics and show you how efficient your drive is. Hybrid test drive data is retained for a maximum of one year and is for statistical and research purposes only. Only Toyota GB and DriveCo (the service provider) will have access to this information
