Proud to now be a Patron of the Prince's Trust

A cause close to our hearts helping disadvantaged young people into jobs, education or training

We are proud to announce that Vantage has now become a Patron of The Prince’s Trust - the UK’s leading youth charity which has helped more than 825,000 young people into work, education or training. The charity celebrates its 40th anniversary this year.

As well as providing financial support to the organsation, the initiative will also see the Vantage Team become involved in a number of the programmes and schemes run by The Trust.

As a further part of the relationship, Mark Robinson, Managing Director at Vantage Motor Group has joined The Trust’s Regional Development Committee for Yorkshire and Humber.

He said:

“The Trust does impressive work with disadvantaged young people across the country, helping them into work, education or training to improve their life-chances. Many young people even go on to start their own businesses. It is something very close to my own heart.

“Today’s motor sector is a very sophisticated industry offering a wide range of opportunities for young people to develop a successful, satisfying and rewarding careers.

“I believe that business today has a responsibility to be part of the communities where it is based and from where it draws its workforce. I look forward to the entire Group and our teams working closely with The Trust to make a difference to the lives of young people in the towns and cities where we operate.”

Paul Rose, Chairman of The Prince’s Trust’s Development Committee in Yorkshire and the Humber, said:

“I am delighted to welcome the Vantage Group as a Patron of The Trust in this milestone, 40th anniversary year.

“It’s excellent news that Mark has agreed to join our Development Committee whose role is to support and drive fundraising across the region. I am sure his skills, contacts and commitment will prove to be a positive addition to the team.”
