We've been raising money for the Bradley Lowery Foundation

I think we can all agree that Bradley Lowery captured the nations hearts, particularly those who are big football supporters.

Bradley was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at a very young age and fought for two years to successfully beat it. In 2016 he unfortunately relapsed so a fundraising campaign was set up to raise funds to send Bradley abroad for specialist treatment.

Bradley's passion for football, specifically Sunderland FC, and his close friendship with Jermain Defoe really brought the football community together.

When Bradley sadly passed away the family decided that the money raised should go to help other children with cancer and they have had donations flooding in to them.

Our teams in Preston raised the idea of 'Dress Down Friday' and got the ball rolling to raise some money for this worthy cause. We asked our teams, across all of our franchises to take part with a special emphasis on wearing your team colours.

We were very happy to see that all 25 of our centres took part in this, some even putting more fundraising ideas in place, getting our customers involved too!

We had a wild array of colours from a wide range of football teams with a special mention going to Chris Hart from Toyota Tamworth who well all out and came in full kit, with coloured hair and glitter!

Our Morecambe ŠKODA team kicked off the day with a bake sale, as did Toyota Blackburn. Kia and Toyota in Scarborough did too as well as a penalty shoot out game to really get people involved. The Toyota teams in Wakefield and York held a 'guess how many balloons'  competition.

We had some great efforts across our group and we're really proud to be able to say that we've raised a grand total of £1690.85. It was fantastic to see so many of our team going the extra mile to raise money for this worthy cause.
