Plug in Hybrid Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are even more efficient than hybrid cars, and they produce significantly fewer emissions. They’re also capable of all-electric motoring over several miles. Plug-in hybrids require manual charging.

Hybrid Hybrid electric vehicles produce fewer emissions and are more affordable to run than their purely combustion-engine equivalents. A self-charging battery provides an electric motor with its power – this, in turn, assists the engine, delivering instant torque, for example.

If you choose an EV, you can remotely activate, set and schedule climate control.

Electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid vehicles cost more – are they worth the expense?

In all honesty, yes. They’re cheaper to run than conventional cars which means that, over time, you’ll recoup on the initial outlay by saving money on fuel.
