Kia 7 Year Warranty Frequently Asked Questions (FAQS)

Kia is not only known for providing new passenger vehicles that embrace the very best in automotive technology, but it is a popular vehicle marque for its innovative and market-leading seven-year warranty.

What is actually covered?

Close

Kia’s seven-year warranty covers most parts and components within your vehicle, with the exception of a number of items that have natural limited durability. For example, such components as wiper blades and clutch linings, plus the car battery (covered for two years), audio system (three years/60,000 miles), and paintwork (five years/100,000 miles). All other parts - including labour costs - are covered by the warranty.

Can I transfer the warranty to the next owner when I sell my car?

Close

Absolutely. In fact, being able to transfer the warranty often adds extra value to the resale cost of your vehicle when the time comes to sell.

Why is Kia the only manufacturer to offer a fully transferable 7-year/100,000 mile warranty?

Close

Kia works tirelessly to ensure that each and every one of its vehicles is crafted with the utmost care and attention. Through rigorous testing and the very best production methods, the manufacturer is proud of the care that has gone into each model. To demonstrate the confidence it has in its vehicles, it provides this extensive warranty for added peace of mind.

What is the catch?

Close

Hard as it may be to believe, there is no catch. Just great value vehicles and a comprehensive warranty.
